Women experience hair loss due to a variety of reasons such as: stress, hormones, certain medications, trauma
to an area of the scalp, chemical over processing and braids that are too tight or their left in for too long.
Hair loss is best diagnosed and treated by a dermatologist. As a licensed cosmetologist, I can only help
cover up the problem (Applying lace front wigs or lace frontals.) It is not in my scope of practice to diagnose, or treat
hair loss. Especially, If it has already been diagnosed by a dermatologist as being an internal problem.
After a consultation with you on your chemical service history, I can then determine if the hair is shedding
constantly due to it being over processed from chemical abuse. If so, I can help you with that problem by using a combination
of conditioning treatments and a good precision hair cut.
I offer full lace front wigs for people suffering from alopecia, or people who just want a hair style change.

If you are suffering from traction alopecia due to years of wearing braids, genetics, or ponytails pulled
tightly to the back placing tension on the hairline. A lace frontal across the front with a sew-in weave in the back might
be an option for you. Click on the lace frontal & lace closure link on the navigation bar for more information.
Q: What is traction alopecia?
A: Traction alopecia is hair loss around the fron hairline. A person may have a full head of hair
every where else, but have a receding, thining, or balding hairline area.
